Navigator Ghulams

I recently bought a job-lot of what were billed as 25mm Navigator (now produced by Magister Militum) Ghulams off eBay. The riders were fairly well sculpted, if a little static and with only 3 variant poses which seems a little limited these days. They are tall (taller than Gripping Beast byzantines) but look like they could be mixed in with few problems.

The real let down on these figures is the horses though, which have very narrow heads and fore- and hind-quarters but bulge out in the middle like they are pregnant. The rider can't even fit on the widest part of the body, where the saddle blanket is, and has to either sit on the neck or right back on the hindquarters. 

Compared to some of the old horses you see the horses probably aren't that bad but they certainly bear no stylistic relationship to the riders and let down what could be a reasonable figure.
