Another army in the development stage is a WAB Anglo-Saxon army. Again this has come out of a role-playing requirement to have some figures for Vikings and Saxons, and somewhere along the line has turned into an entire WAB Shieldwall army.

At the moment the army is porvisionally aimed at 2000pts and hopefully will consist of:

Shieldwall 1:  Eorl, 1 Eorlderman, 14 Thegns and 24 Ceorls 

Shieldwall 2: 2 Eorldermen, 14 Thegns and 24 Ceorls

Shieldwall 3: 2 Eorldermen, 14 Thegns and 24 Ceorls

6 Mounted Thegns

20 Vikings with double handed axes and javelins

8 Geburs with thrusting spears and shields

9 Geburs with slings

8 Geburs with bows

So far, its a little short of these numbes. Shieldwalls 1 & 2 are almost there (they only need 8 more Ceorls each) but I haven't even started on Shieldwall 3. The Vikings are all there as well, but not the mounted Thegns or the Geburs.
